Thanks for starting this thread!
Yeah that impact gun is good but I'm waiting for the cordless one to go on sale if possible (and maybe getting a second battery for it). But otherwise if you have good access to power, then the corded one is a great deal. |

turkish335, the jack's not low profile I believe but what I do is drive up onto a board and then jack the car up. Simple solution so you can use any jack you want. I've got Race Ramps ($$$ ) but if you don't need to crawl underneath, any Home Depot board will work.

I just picked up the torque wrench.
I didn't like the Michelin Jack. There is a Canadian Tire Jack that is aluminum and about $200 that I would like to get on special.

I bought one and didn't feel comfortable with it. Felt like it was struggling and required a lot of effort to jack it up. Another problem was that I wished it could jack the car up a little higher before reaching its limit (so I can put jackstands under and have some good distance. I have the 3 tonne jack and love it. It is a lot heavier than the aluminum one, but feels sturdy and robust. |

I have the certified 3 ton jack and stands as well, it is steel, very heavy but very nice and sturdy.

the Torin Blackjack 3 tonne at Costco in GVR for $99 looks like a good one. It's low profile and is able to jack up in a few pumps. Haven't got one yet, waiting for a sale.

A fantastic deal for a great set of tools. I picked up the Stanley tools that had the Hex, Torx, 1/2, 1/4 and 3/8 deep sockets.
I'll be registering @ CT if I ever get married again. Quote:

CT had Ultra Wet Tire Shine going for 60% off as one of their door crashers a couple of weeks ago. I was in there 15 minutes after the store opened and the shelf was empty. I ask customer service about it and the girl said that they were all sold out and no rain checks allowed. Someone in line behind me was looking for some as well. He started to kick up a big stink about it after we asked to talk to the on duty store manager. The manager gave in and both of us got rain checks. That stuff is almost $10 a bottle and I got 3 bottles (limit) for three something each. Haha!
