I don't know too much about the X6 but drop www.more-bhp.com (or .co.uk - can't remember) an e-mail and inquire about the M-Flash. I did for the 330d but because it is LCI, the ECU is protected from flash tuning through the OBD. May be the same story for your X6 40d but I don't know. Ask them anyway. Or I can always do it for you if you like
