It might sound raspy and it will definitely smell bad.

There are many that run catless DPs and stock exhaust..it kicks up the sound and performance..but for best results go full catless...FTW..im prolly gonna die sooner b/c of the fumes..but I love it..

True.the I am def not one for an overbearing exhaust..dp w stock exhaust gives a nice compromise and opens the restriction on the turbos.

I have heard catless downpipes + secondary cat delete with stock mufflers and it sounds pretty good. But it actually droned a bit more than expected and wasn't that great. Then he switched to the BMW Performance Exhaust and it still drones but sounds way better under throttle.

If you hear my car from the inside, it is pleasantly quiet. I don't think the E92 has a resonator like the E90 has. On my 135i which did not have the resonator, the Dp+stock exhaust combo did drone somewhat but still not terrible by any means.

don't do it. i went fully catless with the stock muffler on my car and it sounds really bad especially between 1500-2000rpm.
does anyone know if getting different mufflers will get rid of the raspiness?

I still got my stock mufflers, e92 doesn't have a resonator I believe.
