shift into sports mode while on the move?

Hey guys,

E93 M-sport 335i auto step
Hope in the right categorie/section, any way wanted to know if it's possible to shift into sports/ms mode while in motion(previously drove evo X, can switch into sport any time, simple switch).... bmw, being gear stick is it possible while in motion 30-40 mph?

Advise & info much appreciated

its possible at just about any speed. i do it on a regular basis when I need that extra power to quickly accelerate on the freeway. it will generally put you in a gear higher than you need, unless you really push it.
