Mystery Issue..!!!!???!!!! Please Help!!!!
It was raining all week here, i had my car parked in my garage for the whole time. When the rain finally stopped I decided to go on a drive to stretch my babies legs. As I backed out of the garage I got out of the car to get my mail, when I got back in the car, it was misfiring like there was no tomorrow. I immediately turned off the vehicle and turn it back on, and it was completely normal. While it was misfiring the engine light came on, but when I scanned the car it said no codes present. Has something like this happened to anyone else? Should I bring it in to the dealer? It is driving fine now. Thanks in advance

sounds like HPFP problems. take it to the dealer if it happens again. Strange though no codes.

Heck these engines are so finicky...OP stated that he shut the car off and turn it on again and everything was normal again! Shit happened to my car like twice since I owned it and same thing happened to me....started car and everything was normal. This car is very weird

I just had the HPFP done, it wasnt acting up at that time but I did it anyway. Maybe that was a mistake. I was also thinking maybe some moisture from the garage. It flooded in my area.

Wait till it happens again unfortunately. What device did you use to check codes? Those universal scanners dont show all the codes. Did you check shadow codes?

Get yourself a Bavarian Technic Tool if you want to see all the codes or wait for it to happen again. Probably leaky injector. |

Got a bad tank of gas once on trip in Washington state, (service station had been flooded) and had the exact same thing happen. After the tank was gone so were the problems.
