Car went coo-coo!

Turned my car on...and it started going nuts! It kept revving between 1,500 and 3,000 rpms, system threw a CEL, and the car went into limp mode. So, i turned the car off, put my JB4 on map 0, turned it back on...and it was fine. Any idea what this could be?

Thanks!

Had the hpfp done once before...but the symptoms weren't like this. Before it just took a good 3 - 4 seconds to start the car when holding in the button. Going to scan either tonight or tomorrow. UGH!

Thanks so much! I'm going to open up the ECU box tomorrow morning...what exactly should i be looking for? Not sure what a blown fuse would really look like. Any help would be appreciated.

Couldn't find a fuse box inside the ECU compartment...so i pulled out and checked all 30's and 40's inside the glove box fuse box and found nothing wrong with any of them. But...now i have another problem. The car wont start. Battery is fine because i'm getting power to the car, but when i try to put the key in, it's not actually locking into the key slot and the push start button isnt doing anything.

Note: I removed the JB4 and BMS intakes just in case i needed to take it in for service.

ANY HELP PLEASE?????

Did you properly put all the seals after installing your jb4?
If not water can get in to the ecu..
Good luck bro

No that's definitely not the problem. I'm thinking I misplaced a fuse when taking them out one by one to check if any were blown. Would anyone be able to take a pic of the fuse box behind the glove box for me please?

Any other help? I'm sure some of you have some knowledge as to what this could possibly be. Please help me out

O am guessing that you replaced the fuse in the wrong spot. Inside my glove box I had a fuse chart (hopefully you do to) check that out and look for any symbol that looks like it would be tied to ignition (pic of a key, battery, etc).

I thought I fried my passenger powerseat when I was checking fuses, turns out I put one back in an unused spot.

For a blown fuse, you are looking at the middle of fuse the little "n" piece of metal is no longer connected and it may look a little black. (google it)

Depending in the year/model you may not have the little black relay/fuse box in your ECU. Look close though, mine was located toward the middle of the car and pretty well hidden by wires. (I had pics in my prior post)

What exactly caused the car to freak out in the first place?

Based on those codes I am right in saying it's a throttle adaptation issue.

My chart has "start/stop" as fuses 4 and 51 others have about 5 fuses listed, find your chart and start with those

I was right. I misplaced the Start/Stop fuse...which is why my key wouldnt go into the slot and start. The car is running fine now without the JB4 installed. Waiting to get some input from Terry in regards to this issue.
