Anyone have more information about this diffuser? I've only seen it used on a car once, and it's on this LTBMW car. Can be bought on ebay for $135.

I plan to upgrade the rear bumper, but mtech is pricey. About $1000 for the bumper, painted and installed. Then I would have the stock bumper in the basement because no one really wants to buy it.

I could get this diffuser on ebay for about $135, painted and installed on my existing bumper for another $300. Much cheaper alternative and I don't have to deal with the stock bumper sitting in the basement. Of course, I have to get quad tips and the installation/fitment of this diffuser looks sketchy.

What are your thoughts?

Mtech look way nicer, but if you Luke this look, have you thought about molding ut with you number so it will be smooth less of a lobes. When you kook at it, it looks like 1 piece and it will be unique as well.

If I were you, i would just save up for the Mtech rear. For me, i rather just do it right the first time, and not have to worry about it again. If you get lucky, you can find a used mtech rear in the the FS section, or even on ebay. GL!

i think only a black car can pull this off right... any other color and i think you would be able to notice the bulkiness of it and then it would look tacky. that and this guy's e92 has SICKASS lci amber tails!!

get mtech rear and you won't regret it. I was planning to use the stock bumper and put a hamann diffuser and I am so glad that I didn't go that route and went the right way. It looks so much better and cleaner when you do it right. Don't cheap out

Ebay parts will probably fit like crap, but what everyone else said, the ACS rear add-on looks good on darker cars. On lighter car, if done right, could look exceptionally nice. In the end, it's matter of what appeals to your liking, whether it's the Mtech or the ACS.

IMO, BMW's deserve a rear diffuser instead of a plain bumper.
