Trying to find OEM touch up paint

Hi guys,

So i've read through what i could find of the rock-chip / touch-up paint threads but haven't quite found the answer to my problem. I'm trying to find the OEM touch-up paint for my 07 montego blue e92 but I can't find it anywhere atm.

i tried my local dealer's parts department and their response was:

Quote:
Im sorry sir, this paint color is new to BMW's line up and right now there is no touch up paint available in the country.

But here is the pricing:

Part# 51-91-0-427-954 PAINT STICK 22.95

There is currently nothing we can do at this time.

Sorry Sir,
Am i SOL? I also found this http://www.bavauto.com/fland.asp?rid...medium=froogle but i have no idea if that's right or not.

if anyone has any info that could help me I'd really appreciate it. Reason i'm looking for the paint is to touch up a rock chip 'bout the size of a BB that went through to the primer.

thanks for any info.

You can get touch up paint from paintscratch.com. Not manufactured by BMW, but it will match. I have used them to obtain red paint on my Audi and it matched perfectly.

I went to my BMW dealer and got my color code and then went to the body shop that does BMW repair work and got my color for my car. It is a perfect match. Best part ...it was free.

Wait...best part it matched perfectly ...then it was free.
