Some new JB4 Features - JB4 DTC Auto Disable!

Here's a quick preview of a new JB4 feature coming up since a few here have asked for. You enable it using dash option 5/5 and when starting the car it will one push disable your DTC automatically upon startup. They have also added the user adjustable meth boost level to menu 9 allowing easier on the fly methanol mapping adjustment. Just a couple more nice touches to go with all those other industry leading CAN integration features the JB4 offers.

Wow. I was just thinking the other day I wish traction control could be turn off completely with a push of a button instead of sleeping on the button for 5 seconds.

Map 2 with bolt ons is good for around 375-385whp and low 12s. Many JB4 customers have made custom maps to get up to 390-400rw on pump gas. I've yet to see any dynojet runs of the Cobb Stage2 so can't tell you how much more or less power it is making than map 2 or what map 6 values you need to enter to match it for better or worse.

I thought Fbo and fullycatless with 93 OCT on the jb4 map 2 would yield 400 whp??? Can Terry make me a custom map 6??

I think we were asking for those features for a long time now! Glad to see someone actually get this done. Kudos!

There saying that the cobb stage 2 will hit over 400 whp easy !! I have to see real proof on a real dynojet and some more feedback to make the switch.Mike if Cobb tune is real deal ,will Terry make a more aggressive map 2?

Only chance you'll get over 400whp on a dynojet is race gas or meth with a piggyback. Map 2 with a few bolt ons gave me 370whp which isn't too shabby in 95 degree weather.

This is nice, I hate that DCT at the drag strips, since I always turn my engine off and at the last minute turn it on and dumb founded its on again at the staging lanes

Really? I kind-a like it. It is like hitting "warp drive" when you want to get around someone. Pretty fun to me.

To have a linear throttle response all the way through WOT.

Not sure if that can be done though, isn't it a mechanical switch/feature?

how will this change that. all the way to kick down is the same as touching kickdown, just the kickdown induces a downshift.

exactly, this is no different than any other auto car, this one just has a button.

It's useful for when you're in manual mode. Not all automatics have this feature with a torque converter that locks like this tranny.

i've been mentioning this for a while, but i'd like manual mode (on auto) to begin in first gear as opposed to second
