How to determine what version of Daten files you have installed
From what I can tell, these are the last modified dates of the Daten file for each version. This way you can tell what you currently have.
1/19/2010 - v39 7/27/2010 - v40 1/24/2011 - v41 How to Update: 1.Download the Daten files (find a link) and extract as necessary. 2.Go to ECU folder and copy all files to /ediabas/ecu (replace your files with the newest files). 3.Go to sgdat folder and copy all files to /NCSEXPER/SGDAT (replace your files with the newest). 4.Go to daten folder and start laden.bat If you don't have laden.bat file go to daten folder and copy all files with .000, .DAT , .ASC extensions to /NCSEXPER/DATEN. And all other files copy to /NCSEXPER/DATEN/EXX (folder of your vehicle data). |

You can also look at the E89AT.000 file and it will tell you the DATUM.

Is it required to update all versions sequentially or is it possible to update to the newest version directly e.g. If I have version 39, can I just install version 42 or will I first have to install version 40 and 41?

My DATEN folder under NCSEXPER folder is empty. I assume all the daten update folders should be copy to their respective folders under NCSEXPER, correct? The reason I ask is I also found the same folder names under INPA

In NCS EXPER folder you should have DATEN\Exx (chasis) folder with files from Sp-daten.
And on NCSEXPER\DATEN should be files from SP-daten\daten with .000, .ASC, .DAT extensions, this same chasis of course |
