Where do you guys recommend for Detailing?

Hey all,

Just wondering where you go to get your car detailed...I live in the Central CT area.

I'm talking a FULL detail (exterior/interior...pre.soak,wash,clay,buff,wax,polish)

I normally wax myself, but I'm considering giving a professional a chance to detail my car, mostly because I have some minor swirl marks and my window trim needs some work.

Looking forward to your responses! Thanks in advance

Rick Nelson @ Unique Car Care in Wakefield, MA. A hike, but the only detailer around worth going to in my opinion.

Biggest +1 to this. If you want it done right the first time, go see Rick. He is among the best of the best.

Here is a link to the extent of the effort done by Rick on my car for a VentureShield install and a detail. OUTSTANDING, Very Highly Reccomended!!!

Haven't tried them out yet, but I've heard good things about Driven Perfection if you're looking for something more affordable.

Another vote for Rick Nelson @ Unique Car Care. He does absolutely top notch work and was named one of the 9 best detailers in the U.S.! He's a great guy too.

I'm down for a drive to see Rick. How are his prices? I'm looking for a full interior/exterior detail without breaking the bank lol

depends on the condition of your paint. I will say if you have him go all out the car will look better then it did on day 1.

I went to Rick to look into a detail (did a basic one myself instead to save cash at the time), but if I ever wanted a very high quality job I'd say go to rick! The shop was full of very nice cars looking MINT. He was a very cool guy and explained everything. At the time he told me it was about $300 for the "stage 1" exterior only detail which sounds like a ton, but for the quality of the work I saw while I was there briefly, I'd say it would be worth every penny...if you have enough $.
