GTA: Looks like Maranello is having a blowout sale!

Hey guys,

Just read that Maranello BMW is doing a blowout sale THIS SUNDAY (Sept. 25) where in stock Lifestyle and Accessories are 50% off!! And BMW performance parts are apparently considered "accessories". More details over at Mike's post on MaxBimmer.

I may come to regret posting this as I'm sure the stock will be limited .. meaning all of you are now competition for some of the stuff...

Looks to be related to the big sales event Remo Ferri group is hosting that day.

I really don't want to drive up there to find out there is nothing. If anyone goes up today and doesn't mind posting what kind of parts are available, that would be appreciated.

I was there earlier this week (Tuesday) and saw a lot of clothing/car detail products....as for performance, I think he has steering wheels and shift knobs

not considered performance, but prob consider "accessory" so will be for sale in that case

Hey guys. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to make it out there before they closed so it looks like you're either going to have to make the drive, see if someone will "live post" once there (I'll try but might be tough since I'll be shopping and sounds like I'll have a few competitors

) , or just accept that you win some, you lose some and hope they run the sale again in the future (the bigger sales event is positioned as an inventory clearance so it might become an annual thing).

As for what performance parts and stuff will be available, given the "cash and carry" nature of the sale, I would think it'd be more along the lines of the smaller items (ex. stuff for detailing, shift knobs, steering wheels, blacklines, etc). Full Mtech kits and PEs probably won't be a part of it. I'll be honest, I only know as much as anyone else who read Mike's original post. I'm treating it as a chance to possibly get some "accessories" / BMW swag and maybe meet some of the guys from the forums (especially ones with PEs *cough*).

I'm hoping to get there around noon so if anyone wants to meet up let me know! I'd say look for my car but I might be doing chauffeur duty before going so might not be driving the BM.
