MP3 songs problem

I just got my unit replaced, and now some of the songs are skipping 1-2 seconds at the beginning and the end? Did anybody have a similar problem? Is it that the new unit is more picky about bit rate and VBR/CBR?

I'm guessing that no responses at all means no one has a comment.

Did the 2009 have the HD yet? There is a TSB about HD units skipping when playing a disc that's also burned onto the HD.

Do you have the USB port? Do you have the same problem with a thumb drive?
