almost exactly above,
degrease the engine, CG Grime Reaper is a good product, I've also used just OTC stuff. Followed by a light wash, try to use as little water as possible. Dry to remove water spots on any plastics and such. after that, 303 aerospace protectant on the plastics and rubbers and all. and CG Black on Black on all the rubber lines that you cant reach, really brings out a shine. detailedimage has a great how-to on their site here: http://www.detailedimage.com/Ask-a-P...ur-engine-bay/ i used to use armorall instead of 303 but didn't like how oily it got. 303 goes on just the same but leaves a dry matte surface. happy detailing! |
