So far it seems that no one has found a clear replacement bulb for it. Nick at JLevi Streetworks said that he would look into it to see if another bulb would fit, but I haven't heard anything since. I'm patiently waiting for a clear replacement also.

Because that damn bulbs is specially designed by BMW for to last the life of the car. I took them off and left the stem so I am driving without it. I am so buying it when the clear ones come out. For now, I got a warning light and cool hyper flashing

You guys don't like the amber? I run amber bulbs on all of my cars. White is just too much for me. Maybe I am just too conservative when it comes to that haha.

Turn signals are supposed to be amber. I'm all for changing the angel eyes to a whiter color, or even the fog lamps-- but changing the amber turn signals is, among other things, illegal.
Whatever floats your boat, I guess. I don't want anyone to be confused when I am signalling for a lane change or a turn. There's already people on the road who have less than the bare number of brain cells required to operate a car-- the last thing I want is to force them to process one extra bit of stimulus, get confused, and run into me. |
