To me it sounds like an Audi. So my guess is an Audi RS5 or an Audi R8 GT...

Small V8, loves to rev and I noticed it has a double clutch tranny as well. I'm still sticking to my gut and saying it sounds like an Audi.

RS5 has a gangster shift sound (small backfire). Sounds like a C63 but not as raspy....
Whatever the car is, it is obviously way faster in a straight line, and slower through the bends. Actually... Im going to call it right now, new M5!

The new M5 has some crackle between shifts too, doesn't it?

Analyzing the lap:
It's running away on the straights. ...and has problems(logically vs a GT3) in the bends, so it cannot be a Ferrari/R8 like car. Also a RS5/M3/C63 won''t run away on the straights from a 997 GT3. I guess a M5 or E63 biturbo? But it revs too high. Ferrari California? |

M5 sounds deeper and has more gargle during shifts... I might be wrong, but I don't think that's an M5... MAYBE, and just a strong maybe, it's the new 991 because it sounds like either a big 6 or a small 8...

M5 because RS5 cannot pull away from GT3RS.

I would have to guess M5 as well, the only thing that is getting me though is that doesn't sound like a turboed exhaust note for some reason. Could be wrong though.
