This entire process takes 2-3 days tops. Very convenient.

Background
Up for sale is my Dell Studio XPS 1647 purchased in April 2010. Roughly a month ago, my system fell off a building and suffered extreme damage. Dell determined it was beyond economical repair, and since it was covered by Complete Care, they sent me a replacement system. The system has all new parts EXCEPT for a small bit of the chassis--see pictures below. I used this new system for less than a week. It still has all the plastic on it.

Here are Some Reviews; Please Note this is the Dell 1647, the third revision. Original was 1640, then came the 1645, then the 1647 which runs much cooler, more efficient, and no venting issues.
