Permanently Glueing Roundels?
I'm thinking of Permanently gluing my roundels to the car.
Anyone have any suggestions on what glue/adhesive to use?

How about the adhesive used for spoilers?. . . Betalink. . . but if you ever have to replace them I don't know how easy it's going to be to remove them.

I dont know about permanently glueing your roundel on. If you look at some E30 or even E36 bimmers, the roundel is pretty dead looking. If its permanently glued, replacement will be a PITA.

I need them glued for the following reasons: - Not get stolen - So if someone does try to steal them again, my shock sensor will sense enough vibration to set my alarm off

A word of warning - if you glue them on and someone tries to steal them, they will more than likely cause more damage to the trunk/hood than if they weren't glued. Better to have to buy new roundels than to have to repair the car!?
Just a thought...

Just what I was thinking... Go ahead and treat them as sacrificial. Have an extra set handy and consider yourself lucky that nothing was actually damaged.

If you glue them on they are just going to try harder and ruin the emblem and your hood.you'll have to replace the emblem then and have to get a new one anyway.IMO its a bad idea.

Comeon guys, I thought this through lol. I doubt a theif will be stupid enough to stick around with the alarm setting off for 20+ seconds, then reseting itself and going off again. The wonders of the Shock Sensor...which ALL of you should consider getting! Baby, no. Just no. lol. =] Haha, CF roundels are Nioce! Had them on my car for like a day...then had to take them off. Back to stock for me! Those are REAL CF right? looks like it. Thanks Jackie. I still have some betalink (ish) glue left from my spoiler installation. TY though!
