SBC's latest news!

Just teasing you all a little bit for now.

Can't get Gwen out of my head. Best enjoyed while listening to the the music.

Also, in other news also recently got some Lux angel eyes, yellow foggies and paddleshift retrofit w/ M3 wheel + DCT paddles.

Just using the plain rotors for now because if they didn't fit then there would have been no point in buying the slotted.

These are 135i fronts aka BMWP minus the slots - not a real aftermarket brembo kit. They do fit 335i, but the stock 335i brakes are larger. I assume you're looking into something like Brembo GT? That stuff is way to expensive for me. If your coming on sunday then have a chat with johnny - he has some brake options which might interest you.

Cheers. I'll try to swing by and assuming I can find the place, I should have a free 1/2 hour before the wife and kids realise I am missing and send out a search party.

Yeh sounds like a winner

I'm working on getting a YL to come with me on sunday, so we can see what she thinks.

I'll try get a pic tomorrow, but just come on sunday and see them in person To be honest the yellow is not 100% as I expected, but that's just because I'm so used to seeing the BMWP brakes in yellow. Definitely a good mod - but has totally confirmed the fact that I am an idiot for blowing money on a car.

That's crazy talk. What you need to do is look at it differently, say "look how much money I have saved on the car because of all the info I got from....."

That's winner talk

... reminds me of how women justify ridiculous purchases (shoes/bags etc) because of one of the following:

a) cost per wear will be reallllyyy low cause they'll always wear/use it!
b) it was a good deal, 15% off rrp!
c) they're pretty

Whether SBC is actually crazy or not, the "performance" calipers look very good. I am hoping we will get to see some more nice pics from the meet today (which I'm sorry to have missed)

I am kind of surprised the calipers are a bolt on fit without taking more components from the 135i.

Thanks John, they did look pretty good today. I am fairly happy I did this mod. It's not too surprising that the fronts fit as they are essentially the same as BMWP kit. Just needed dust shield/calipers/rotors and another bracket as well I think. Anyway I got on some custom caliper stickers today.

PS Pics of my car from today will compare to the time I had tape on it.
