week 11 production, ETA april 16, last week dealer told me car had landed east coast and was on the train, revised ETA april 29, just called the dealer now and he said the train hasn't arrived yet...

so i just realized i've been stupid driving to the dealer's lot twice a day 4 the past week just to make sure they dun drill holes on my front bumper...and checking the weather network every 5 mins...


the wait's just been 2 long...and i'm loosing my mood...dun want it as much now

Can't you just tell them not to drill holes in your front bumper. Or even go down their once and make them sign something saying they wont drill holes or they'll replace your bumper. This way you can just call in and check up instead of making a trip to the stealership

well...my bro ordered a 530 M-pack several months ago...reminded them so many times not to drill holes...and bumper ended up drilled...and my bro took it coz they somehow guaranteed they'll swap the bumpers 4 him...he ended up getting the bumper swap after bugging them everyday for 3 months....

so if mine's drilled....i'm not taking it until they swap it 4 me...

The port of Halifax is reported to have a large backlog of cars due to the CN labour disruption.
There's a possibility your car is not yet on a train, mine arrived at the port Tuesday the 2nd, and I'm bracing for a long wait.
The dealers could care less about the time for transportation, you're better off tracing yourself. You can set up a CN Velocity web account online for VIN tracking. Or if you want to PM me the VIN I can check it for you when I check on the status of mine. So far mine does not show up on the tracking page so it's awaiting a train.

MINNOW, that's reliefing news...just started worrying if the delay is due to VPC repair (not sure if we have sth like that in canada)....i seriously dun want a lemon...

dealer and the 1800 BMWCA# both said the car's on train...but believe it or not neither has ever told me the name of the ship....do u mind telling how to set up the CN Velocity web account online for VIN tracking?

Just go to the CN Velocity page and register.
Once you go through that process they will send an email with a link that activates your login account.
Checked my car this morning - still not showing up.

ok...i wonder if my E36 is more anxious...check engine light went on halfway to work this morning...checked fuel cap is fine...could it be coz the service light went on for 2 long (4 some reason the service indicators go off real fast after oil service last time, wonder if dat's related to the mileage ~160k now)

maybe i should just call the dealer and make them get me a loaner till my E93 arrives

OK...CA found out vehicle has arrived local port may 5th...has been unloaded but still not at dealership...now wat's taking dat long to get a truck to transport it over...just 10 miles away...

and it's goin to rain again nxt week....darn it
