Should I paint the CF csl bootlid on a jet black car?

The title pretty much says it. I'm worried that the look of carbon fiber and the color of my car won't fit. I was also wondering if anybody has any pictures of cars which have the trunk like this.

You could always paint it, and leave a little strip of carbon showing. We did this for a customer's M5 spoiler and it looks great. Looks even better on the CSL boot!!!

On a black car, I'd leave it as is for a nice accent. It won't clash. But check with the maker and make sure you don't need to clear-coat with a UV blocker it to give it some UV protection. Some resins don't like sun exposure.

Thanks for the replies, I decided to get it painted to play it safe. My friend owns a shop and he only charged 120 dollars for it so why not right? I'm going to leave the lip and the license plate area CF. Hope it turns out good

Here's a quick pic that I took. It's not perfect but it's not too bad since my knowledge about cars was 0 a few weeks ago.

Yea he helped out a lot, in the other shops I got quoted anywhere from 360-700 dollars and that just seemed silly to do since the trunk lid itself was around 700
