My First Car, any advice

Hey Guys,

I bought my 328xi all by myself back in may, and like everyone on this fourm I love my Beamer. I love the stock layout, but I want to create a more unique appearence. I am still in Highschool so I dont have a big budget after the puchase in May. Soo I guess Im looking at a $2200 budget.

Any advice on modifications in this ball park? I was thinking of changing my rear valence/bumper to a Hamann quad diffuser and getting a Remus Muffler system with 4 76mm tips. Also a 30% tint...

Anyway thanks for looking and here she is as is:

Mario I love your smoked taillights,

Do you think those would look good on the darker blue color of my car?

Thank you! Those smoked taillights were just temporary.. Now I have blacklines like the majority of the people on here. I think blacklines would look great on your Monaco Blue: http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1170122517

But if u do decide to smoke out your tails, this is where I got the overlay from: http://www.stickercity.com/BMW-3-SER...2006-2009.html

(medium smoke)

Wheels Are a must. I got 18" m6 replicas off eBay for $550 shipped. It will completely change the look of your car. Don't waste money on a muffler, just have a shop wells you some nice tips and a magnaflow if you want more noise.

Definitly a drop and wheels first. With that budget you'll probably be able to afford black lines and some angel eyes as well.

Car looks good, and nice X5!

with $2200, u can do a lot of mods if ur just patient and look for good deals... u can buy a clean set of used wheels, sell ur stock wheels (if u want) and buy new tires, buy used springs, buy new shocks, buy used/new trunk spoiler, new shadowline vinyl wrap, used blackline taillights, new headlight amber overlays, used/new aero front splitter/lip, paint the front grilles black by yourself... and still have a couple bucks left.

the only "problem" with this is that, as clean as it'll look, ur car will look like almost every frikkin car on this forum haahhah

I'd try to buy them used. it will be around the same price but it will be an OEM product opposed to an aftermarket. OEM quality>aftermarket
