N57 for the F30?

I have been watching, following and reading about the new GORGEOUS F30 and I have really enjoyed its launch! However, there is no mention of the 30d or 35d anywhere!!! Does anybody have any information on the N57\'s regarding their debut in the F30? If launched in time, it is a very high possibility that it will be our new car

Ha, do you seriously not like the looks of the F30? I think its one of the sexiest cars BMW have released alongside the new Z4, E90 LCI and F10 5er! They can't not put the N57 in the F30... and what about the 25i? Huge seller here!

I agree...I like the new body style, but I don't like what they did with iDrive. I prefer the integration into the dash instead of the screen on the new one. Most of the other bits, I definitely appreciate.

I actually like the idrive screen. I hate the hood cut line that all new BMWs are getting and I really don't like the way the kidney grills are exposed on the sides near the lights. It looks totally unfinished to me and makes that little section in front of the hood cut line stand out even more.

I also don't like how they are bringing the exterior color into the interior and key fob. I like the idea just not the execution.

I would be very surprised if Europe didn't get some version of diesel.

Wasnt the 320d one of the featured cars in the introduction of the F30? wouldnt that have the N57? Just without the turbos of the 335d?

No, the 20d is an i4 so it is an N47. The forms of N47 are 16d, 18d, 20d, 23d and 25d (25d in 2012 turns from N57 to N47). Examples of N57 are the 30d, 35d, 40d (in the 7er and X5/6) and (upcoming) 50d in the F10.

The N57's I'm interested in for the F30 are the 30d and 35d.

I actually prefer the styling of the E90 LCI better then the F30 so far.

Well, I think an F30 LCI is already in the works. I'm just gathering some pics and evidence to use to suggest this so watch out for a new thread popping up!

huh? Why would a face lift already be in the works on a car that hasn't even been sent to dealer lots yet.

huh? Why would a face lift already be in the works on a car that hasn't even been sent to dealer lots yet.

I think you will find most manufacturers plan their facelifts near the time of release of their car.
