Strange boost waves?!?!? HELP!
Check out the strange boost waves in this log??!?! Any ideas? I'm running the latest Procede V5 Rev 2b Beta Auto tune maps (7-29) on map 1, target boost of 13.5.

I was running the old 3/30 DIC maps and tried reloading them. The issue didn't go away, so I reloaded teh newest firmware and maps and I'm still having the problem. I have no other symptoms. No codes thrown. It had been running fine with solid logs for months. This issue started yesterday during a track day at Road America and has persisted.

I am having similar issues with my JB4. I am running over 16psi on map one with ignition advance over 10 degrees. I shouldn't be running any higher than 13 psi on map 1. Terry said it could be my wastegates or boost solenoids, but my ecu psi is reading over 15 psi which would essentially cause throttle closure. Mods are DCI, JB4 running 91 octane and DA was 1200.

the only other variable, and I don't think this should have any effect, is that I have been running about 95 octane vs. my normal 93 (half tank of 98 at the track), but I don't think that should be any kind of problem.

7-29 maps never worked right on my car...Wastege DC was all over the place..Try 7-11
maps and make sure you reset all the adaptations and Procede exactly like the read me file says. My duty cycles for some reason kept getting stuck at 36.2 at idle when it was suppose to be 60.2 I thought my wastegates were getting stuck so I went to lubricate the arm...Turned out it wasnt hardware but software! Go figure |

I just changed to 7-11 and so far things are looking good. I don't have the logs on this computer, or I'd post it. I want to get a few more miles in before I totally call it a success, but I'm glad to not get 18 psi boost spikes any more.

Your car doesn't agree with the 7-29 maps trust me on this...I spent hours and hours to realize this with 3-30 DIC maps. Went as far as changing out my boost solenoid because of the clicking and the farting noise...Log it with the 7-11 maps and I am most definite sure you will see boost steady as a dead man's heartbeat

Nothing to do with it as I resetted everything about 20 times with 7-29 maps and it just wouldnt work on my car...Have no idea why it works for some but for me it was a disaster.. Car would not boost right at all..Funny thing was I emailed Shiv on 9-10 about my issues with 7-29 maps and I never got a reply back about it.

My boost and target boost are fine, I'm now experiencing a lot of throttle closure during pulls. Is wierd. Car was running fine till yesterday I notice it.

so far 7/11 maps look good. I spoke with Shiv and our best guess is that my wastegates were sticking due to high heat of running a little too much boost for my mods on such a high speed track. The problem persisted for quite a while after I got off the track (several hours) and went away the next day after loading 7/11 maps, but I didn't test/debug properly to really know what the problem was.
I'll need to do some more high speed stuff, but its unlikely Ill be able to replicate Road America on the streets without ending up in jail!! If I do another track day with this car, I plan to only run 11psi and keep my fingers crossed
