PCD date not confirmed yet..I thought it was...AHHHH!

Well, about a month ago, my CA told me that my PCD date will be June 8th. When I talked to him several days ago he said it's not confirmed 100% yet. He said he's been trying to get in touch with the girl who does scheduling at PCD for last 2 weeks for confirmation. He said, she's not returning his calls or emails. I'm not sure who to believe cuz my CA isn't very good with returning my calls or emails. He said this is his first PCD experience and I'm starting to freak out!

My car's been on the boat, Liberty, since April 16 and I believe it will be in SC sometime tomorrow. It seems like people are getting their PCD dates by the time their cars are on the boat. My CA told me I shouldn't worry because the girl from PCD said the date should be fine. But we still don't have the firm confirmation.

I ended up talking to another CA at the dealer when my CA wasn't available and he said if the date is not confirmed by PCD, I shouldn't make any traveling plans. The second CA also told me May is all booked for PCD and June is starting to fill up fast.

Man, I just don't know what I should do? I thought everything was cool with the pickup date and now my idiot CA tells me...oh, it's not confirmed yet. I guess I just need to keep bothering this guy.

My date is supposed to be June 7th, my car is already in South Carolina and my date is not confirmed. I did however receive a letter that said it's is setup up for June 7th, and this would be confirmed closer to the time. I already have everything booked, because when my CA called me (before i recevied the letter) and told me my date was confirmed for June 7th and to go ahead and make arrangements. When he received a copy of the letter he called me and said, "You didn't make any arrangements yet, did you"? If you have received a letter you should be in pretty good shape, as some people have told me the Center almost always hits dates (except in the case of a roadster a year or two ago). Hopefully you have received the letter. Hang in there.

No letter yet. When did you receive the letter? Is the letter from PCD? I would feel a lot better when I do receive some official statement from PCD.

Assuming everything is cool we are only about a month away!

I'll have to look when I get home, but I would have to say 1.5-2 weeks ago. My car arrived in South Carolina at the end of last week, so it was on a different boat than yours (maybe that timing has something to do with it). The CA actually received the letter before me and called to tell me I was going to be receiving it 1-2 days after him. I'd hound the CA and ask if he has received the letter. Don't know if you can contact scheduling at the PC yourself. I would think they would return the CA's calls and E-mails after two weeks.

If it makes you feel better I had received the same call you received from your CA about 6 weeks ago. Maybe you are a week or two behind me in notifications, meaning your letter should be coming shortly. Good luck!!

I got my letter last week.... so 2 weeks before my PCD.

The way I got my date was that soon after the car arrived in NY (4/16) I got a call from my CA saying that the PCD is for May 14th and that was the earliest date they could offer. About a week later I got the letter from PCD confirming my delivery date.
Through the whole process my neither my CA or the PCD would offer an estimated dates until the car was on the boat and arriving in New York.

Everyone calm down, I know it's not easy. After going through the entire stress process, let me fill you in.

MY car finished production on 3/1/07. It was loaded on a ship 3/12/07. Arrived Charleston, SC 3/29/07 which is when I got a letter from the PC confirming my delivery date of 4/27/07.

The Performance Center will only offer a delivery date once they receive acknowledgement that your car has been loaded. They will confirm only when it has landed in Charleston, SC. If you are tracking your car and know that it has landed at port, you can be 99.99% sure that the date you were offered will be confirmed.

Okay - I know I was over reacting. I'll try to relax a bit this weekend and give my CA a break. According to your process, I'll probably get some sort of confirmation next week or the week after. Thanks!

Okay - I can relax now. My CA called on Friday and told me that PC called to confirm the date of June 8th. PC also said that they will be sending a confirmation letter this week.

I received a forwarded email from the PDC with my reservation date of May 31st so I need to fly out there on the 30th to be ready. They say I shouldn't make travel arrangements until two weeks prior so it is possible that I do not have a final confirmation on this date.

Great. I knew I shouldn't have trusted my CA. He has been wrong about so many things! He told me to go ahead and make travel arrangements, which I did. I haven't gotten confirmation from the PC yet though. Hope nothing changes.

I now have a confirmed date of MAY 31st directly from PCD. I now have the flights arranged and next week I go to BMW Dallas to purchase the car.
Does PCD provide floormats for the drive home?

Either your dealer makes them a present for you or you have to purchase them yourself.
