Help with CCID: 118/133
I've had both of those errors on my car for a couple of months.. they're
FRM 133 Right Rear Light Failure FRM 118 Rear Light Right Failure and I can not figure out how to reset them... All the lights on the right side of my car work fine. I did replace the AE with an after market LED, would that be what's spitting out these error codes? I've tried searching but can't find an answer, sorry if I missed it or if this isn't the proper thread... just redirect me to the post if there is one =) Thanks in advance! Greg

seems like the LED aftermarket lights are causing the problem... there are vendors in the forums that offer a simulator to fight the error code. (just search)
It's cause by the amount of power (or lack there of) that the LED's are using. Since LEDs use a fraction of the voltage and amps as a standard halogen bulb, the 'bulb check' feature of your car reads this as a faulty bulb... |
