anybody in nj with a scan tool?

friend of mine got permanent limp status and we want to find out what code is it, anybody in north nj has the scan tool that is willing to help?
hes also a member here but he's at work making the shoe money.

Got a can tool, in Fort Lee, but dont know how to use it yet lol so if you know and just need it, come on by or we can meet somewhere. both the Can tool, and the Coding cable, whichever works for you best lol

thanks for the replies, we are going to try to see if the bmw dealer want to look at it first since if its an injector or fuel pump code the car will have to stay there anyway. thanks again.

Auto chain stores usually scan your car for free. Engine codes anyway, in your DME. Not stuff like your FRM or CAS.

But I'll be driving up from Philly tomorrow and if your friends car is a pre March '07 build, I can scan your car with INPA.

Thanks a lot today Sal and Thomas for letting us pass by in such a short notice. Hopefully things can get fixed. And hopefully next time we meet we can discuss some stuff about the 2Jay Z doing the guest appearance, looking forward to the opening of the new location.
