After going to bimmerfest and hearing them both in person (idle revs) I thought AA race = RICE and Vishnu = throaty V8. Vishnu's sounded sooooo much better.

Did you see/hear the exhaust? sounds amazing, and looks great...nice round tips which are slightly more aggressive than stock. sounds nice & deep/throaty...no rasp. |

As long as the tips look ok (hell stock looks fine to me)... thats all that matters for me when it comes to looks. What i really care about is Performance and sound. For the most part the exhausts I have heard on here sound ricey. I would like to hear the MS version of Eisenmann... but I wasnt too impressed with the race version sound. I cant wait to hear vishnu's exhaust. Throaty/V8 sounding is what I want... not a huge tin can sound fan.

You mean Harmon Motive, they are a pretty good shop. I heard the exhaust, and btw an exhaust sounds as different as the rest of them and at least respect an individuals work (exhaust sound) for just that. His exhaust sounds too quiet, another friend from here agreed with me but thats just us. I came from a V-8 S4 so its nothing like my former pipes but then again a 335 and an M3 2007 and older will never sound like a V-8 no matter what the exhaust is.

I want to hear some sound clips of this also. The exhaust looks nice, not too much of a fan of the tips, but sound is definitely the most important factor to me.

http://harmanmotive.com/forums/335vi...iSSCBEroad.mov Before and after clip. Please dont post on my reation times to rev and take off... I wouldnt do well at a track. hahaha Was planning on doing a write up on but haven’t gotten around to it yet. When I first got this installed I thought it was too loud and now I think it might be too quiet. It does make change in the ashtray rattle around a bit. All and all I think it looks great (much better than stock) and when you open it up it has a really good sound. Most of the rumble (change rattling in the ashtray) comes in around 2-3k. If you press gas down 1/4 + the sounds changes and is more like the before after clip. SPECS: http://www.335parts.com/catback Last edited by Patric 335; 05-07-2007 at 02:38 PM.. |
