Unhappy New DukeDynamics E92 BMW Performance style CF diff's with red logo's now

Just a heads up to anyone buying this, the only pictures of this diff on the internet show a white DD logo underneath the diffuser. It came with a red logo in the middle/front. Guess my only option is to sand and re-clear.

That sucks - why would they ruin it like that right in the middle, at least make a nice looking emblem and stick it down in the corner if you want free advertising! I love that diffuser but I certainly don't want that under the clearcoat on it!

How was the fitment? Looks like I see a little gap too. Bunch of threads about duke dynamics having poor fitment.

I hear DD fitment is hit or miss. Mine fits fine. Not too much different than stock gaps IMO.

I have a friend with one of these...fitment is horse shit. And DD won't get back to him.

Your car looks nice! Although ya the DD logo is a bummer. I would have ordered the CF version too if it wasn't for the @#$% logo. Wish they wouldn't do that.

That's no good. I knew there was a chance it'd be defective, but I guess I got lucky. There wasn't an OEM option. My other option was the Arkym and 3D design valences, but the DD piece is a replica based on oem design, for around $1,000 less than the other two. If it didn't fit, I'd be willing to give DD another chance to provide a piece that fit before I'd get the Arkym or 3D Design pieces. Wish there was an oem one. OEM carbon is the best IMO, I'd pay over 1K for one.

Read there website, they claim the logo is imbedded into the first layer of carbon, not between the resin and clear, so I would be afraid to sand that as you are going to mess up the weave going that deep.
