Peeling door pull trim possibilities?
We all know about the bubbling and peeling door trim. As of now, options are replace it or peel it off all the way and deal with it.
Has anyone considered vinyl wrapping it or plasti dipping it? |

i plan on putting gloss black vinyl over mine... also my center console is starting to bubble and peel also so i there's a possibility of throwing gloss black vinyl over that too
I'm sure it's more work involved pulling off the door panel than it is actually overlaying the vinyl. |

I was thinking about doing this, I'd probably do matte for the sake of oem-ness. If the center console is peeling, do that too, it all has the same rubberized coating.
Anyone know if there's a rubbery vinyl? |

Yeah, i'm sure there is... hell, there's even 'leatherette' vinyl... there's also material that's is used on the ///M steering wheel that you apply like vinyl.
send WU99WU a message, i'm sure he can tell you where to find all of this material. He somewhat collects rare vinyls anyway for the sake of testing them out... |
