Should I sell my iPhone 4 for a Galaxy S 2?
So I got a white 16 gb iPhone 4 and the screen broke. I'm in the process of getting it fixed now at the shop and at the same time I'm looking at my other options. I read good things about the Galaxy S 2 and it's something I'm considering (I have AT&T and from my understanding the new Galaxy Nexus won't be for AT&T so that's out of the picture). I listed my iPhone 4 on craigslist for $350 and have received 10-15 calls and texts within 15 minutes of putting it on craigslist. Is that too low of a price? A LOT of people are interested in it, maybe it has to do with the fact that I'm still on 4.3.2? Anyways, I'm considering to sell it for $350 and $115 of that would have been used to fix it. That leaves me with $235 for a new phone. I have 2 upgrades eligible right now from my family and they don't use their phones so I'm thinking about picking up a Galaxy S 2 for $200. Should I do it or just jailbreak my iPhone 4 and get Cydia features?

I have one and I like it but both are great phones. It's really up to you to find out which OS you prefer.
BTW, I have found from having numerous jailbroken iphones that they are highly unreliable. Freezing, crashing and so forth...

This is a good deal on a new one; take that into a store and I am sure they would be willing to negotiate if you threatened to leave.

Keep your iPhone and jailbreak it. It's really easy @ free. Jailbreakme.com from your iphone.
And I have owned over 15 jailbroken idevices and jailbroken close to 100 others. NEVER had one crash/freeze. It only really happens when people download EVERYTHING available. The galaxy s isn't all that great IMO |

I have 4 jailbroken iPhone before I bought a SG2. I also have a jailbroken iPad 2. The only neat feature you can do is get free apps and minor modifications to the OS. You don't need to jailbreak Android. You can already DL paid apps for free on any Android OS, change the theme, add widgets without being jailbreak. |

Well I'm about to pull the trigger on a S2 from Amazon as I think that is a great deal. If anyone here can tell me how you guys transfer songs into it, please tell me how easy or hard it is. I honestly can't stand using iTunes...

One of the main reasons why I switched and wanted to have nothing to do with an Iphone anymore. Ishit is the biggest pain in the ass on this Earth. On the SG2 it's pretty much as easy as opening the phone up in the browser and uploading music or using a program to do the same.

go with iPhone 4S or Windows Phone 7.. I used to love Android, but bleh, the OS has many bugs, and I quit waiting for system updates that would fix the bugs/crashes. Reading large PDF files (something I do often) is a nightmare. I tried my friend's LG Optimus 2x, which is supposedly the greatest Android phone for the T-Mobile for some time and I was disappointed as well. Going from an iPhone 4 to an Android, I think you will be disappointed with the user interface and experience. I'm not an Apple fanboy or anything, I don't even have a Mac. I use a Samsung Focus currently.

The new Win phones are much better than those of old, and continue to improve as they add more and more features and developers. |
