First Dyno with Cobb Tune - Now with graphs

I had my car on the Dyno on Friday using a Dynojet. My research shows that Dynojet should read higher than a Mustang dyno but I was pretty disappointed based on other dyno's that have been posted on here.

The highest run was at like 317 whp which seems low compared to other dynojet graphs I have seen. Does 317 seem low to you guys? I was running Cobb V203 on 93 octane and the Cobb Aggressive map.

Just saw a few more graphs and it looks like maybe I was in line after all. Perhaps I was looking at stage 2 before.

How much torque? Do you have a baseline?

Unfortunately I do not have a Mac so I cannot view them through winpep7. I will try to get my hands on a PC tonight.

317whp still sounds low for a cobb 93 octane map. Should be around 350-360 on a dynojet. But without a baseline its hard to say...

I dunno, if on a completely stock AT car with just stage 1 aggressive I wouldn't expect more than about 320-340 rwhp. That would be +60-70 over the typical stock AT of 260-270 rwhp on a dynojet. I assume the torque is a good bit higher?

It's killing me not being able to see these dyno's. I will hop on a PC tonight and try to pull them up. I had a guy on here that was kind of enough to pull them for me but he only sent the HP graphs.

that was me, it seemed like the hp graphs were all the shop sent over. you may want to contact them and have them re-send the hp/tq graphs

this thread is going to be worthless and full of speculation unless you have a baseline.

does 317 suck !?!?

if your baseline is 290, then yes, it does in deed suck big time.

but if your baseline was 260, then no, it doesn't suck.

go back and do a baseline versus Cobb or this thread is going to be painful.

Yeah I am starting to realize I am wasting forum space and everyone's time.

here's the software download link to convert the files to .bmp, if you're able to get the original hp/tq graphs:

This is more of the answer I was looking for. Baseline is going to be "similar" from one stock 335i to another based on a few variables. We should be able to get a rough idea as to whether or not the dyno reading was off or not. I will try to post up graphs tonight.

The actual reason for my dyno was to have the V203 93 octane maps tested versus the Aggressive maps since myself and other members were claiming that the V203 seemed more powerful. I wasn't attempting to get a baseline versus cobb stage 1 but was a bit surprised to see numbers as low as they were based on other dynos I have seen on a dynojet as stated by Mithiral.

That does seem really low. Maybe it's just the dyno...

I have FBO and put down a cool 370 whp and 412 wtq on Stage 1 Aggressive on a local dyno.

This is why baselines matter so much. If you had baselined 250 and I had gotten 295 then our results are similar and can be compared across dynos.

So was there a differnce between v203 and aggresive?

Just get it tested again with baseline numbers, or else you'll go crazy about that low number.

Installed a stage 2 on my E55. Got 430 rwhp. Was very upset until they added the baseline number of 340 rwhp. The sucker had the same pull as a stage 1 evo 997tt and broke loose 275 PS2's at 60mph in 80deg weather.
