Here is what annoys me about CA!

It spoils you!!

After driving my new car for a little over a week now, I drove my Jeep today. I went to open the Jeep after leaving the bank - put my hand in the door handle and nothing happens! Oh yea - I have to press a button on the key fob. Get the keys out of my pocket and press the button, unlock the door and get in. I go to start the car with my bare hand and am again momentarily confused. What the?! Oh yea, I actually need to put the key in the hole to turn this car on. What a pain! Whose idea was it to make me use a key! Ok, get the key out of my pocket (which I'd automatically put back in it after unlocking the door because who needs a key to start the car), put it in the hole and start the car. Finally I can drive off. Jeez, what a work out!

lol, I know what you mean. When I drove a rental car yesturday, I completely forgot that the seatbelt does not come to you. I was literally sitting there, like an idiot, what was wrong with the car until I realized that I actually had to reach for the seatbelt.

Yes, I like things that my new car does for me. I like not having to think about locking or unlocking the car. Putting the key in to start it. Having to chase the rain with rain speed, remembering to turn on or off my lights, or even where my garage door opener is. Yes this car makes life so much easier! How did I ever get along with these things before?

BTW: No my wife has to remind me to turn on the headlights or turn off the windshield wippers when I'm driving her SUV. Must be time for an X5!

Isn't there a setting somewhere that will lock the car when you walk away from it? I'd thought there was, but I can't find it now.

Ok, thank you. I was going crazy trying to find that. I don't know where I thought I saw it way back when. So to slightly amend bartman32's post - I guess you do still have to worry about locking the car.

sometimes when my servants don't feed me, and tend to every little nuissance, i freeze and try to figure out what to do... confused.

and sometimes when my car doesn't drive itself, i pray that i remember how to drive.

Sorry I meant that I don't have to use a key to lock it. I do have to "pinch" the handle when I leave and it locks just fine thank you.

I LOVE this car!

I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some cool feature I was missing out on.
