This is what happens when I mix the following together:
1) sunny Southern California lazy Sunday
2) $5 car wash
3) new Nikon D3100
4) free GIMP photo software

Appreciate the concern, but it wasn't the usual "drive-thru" style wash. It was the manual - get out of the car and wash it yourself while you use the station's filtered water and soap - style.

I'm with you on avoiding the drive-thru washes at all cost.
