Wisdom tooth removed :(
I had my upper wisdom tooth removed yesterday. It was causing swelling in my bottom jaw so doc said it was best to remove it. I went along with it and now I miss it and feel dumb for taking it out . Have you guys had any wisdom teeth removed?

All 4 removed in one day. I looked like a chipmunk for a couple of days, but I didn't think the process itself was bad at all, its just the aftermath. Vicodin FTW!!

I feel better others have done it lol. I took a couple advils before and the pain is gone for now. I just can't imagine chewing on food without the wisdom tooth lol.

Don't feel dumb although you might if they have to remove more later. Four of mine were extracted 40 years ago & my wife had a random 5th removed! I don't miss mine at all now.

Why would you feel dumb having them removed? This thread is confusing... 90% of the people I know have had them removed... or HAD to have them removed. Myself included.

I feel dumb because it feels like there is a huge gap there now and I'm afraid that once I start chewing on that side it would be very uncomfortable lol.

There is a huge gap because the tooth that was there isn't anymore... It only feels weird for the first few weeks. We don't need them anymore... If you had problems with 1... you will probably have problems with the other 3..

Yeah there is really no big deal having them removed. I only had one removed, and it was awkward for about 2 weeks, then I didn't even notice. Plus, theres a reason they need to come out so just get it done and never worry about it again!

haha chewing with all 4 gone is pretty difficult xP and awkward... beware of dry socket/food caught in the gaps! Mashed potatoes was my best friend for a few weeks haha
not sure about anyone else, but the hydrocodone made me very nauseous... =\ |

Stop acting like your dick fell off, Almost everyone has them removed, they are next to impossible to keep clean being so far back you cannot get a brush around them.
I also believe that tooth was filled with all your wisdom |

All four removed and the worst of it was not the pain from the actual procedure, but the food getting stuck in the holes and smelling like a UTI'd punani

Had all four out at once a couple of years ago, don't miss them at all
I felt nothing since they gave me an IV drip, the worst thing about it was just keeping food out of the holes and all the bleeding at first.
