335i N54: Fully catless with stock mufflers

CP-E catless DP's, fully catless, no resonator, no x/h pipe.. Stock mufflers, no exhaust valve actuator.

100% no drone, minmal rasp, no nasty air sucking sound when revs come down from revving. This is the best exhaust setup by far ive done or heard, im finally happy with my exhaust setup. Even if its the stock mufflers
Amazing turbo sound!! and amazing spool!!

Sorry for the image of the video editing in advanced.

No exhaust valve actuator? BS. I had drone by just doing that on a stock exhaust. It night not be loud or very noticeable but it's drone nonetheless

getting rid of the resonator can eliminate the slight drone caused by catless dp's and the stock exhaust

It's closed during cruising. Which is also when the exhaust droned. Perhaps it's the difference between sedan and coupe but without resonators, his exhaust should be very similar to the coupe exhaust. So unless you claim that cats induce drone...

I agree with this statement 100%

E92's don't have a resonator and still have the drone. A resonator should actually reduce the drone a bit. Have you compared a muffler delete on a e90 vs. e92.... the drone on an e92 is almost 3 times as loud due to not having a resonator.

Funny because the actuator should be closed around 2000rpm cruising speeds.

I've heard the exact same setup he has and it did drone a bit, but nothing to complain about, but my only problem with it was that it was extremeeeeeeely raspy, I'm surprised his doesn't rasp at all.

You cant really hear the rasp but slightly when your parked and revving the engine...The rasp will be pronounced once the car is under load and from the video I think it has to have some sort of rasp..I had it on my car and it was horrible under load or when you suddenly stab at the throttle from cruising to half throttle..I was AT though so I am not sure about MT

Yes i deleted and cut out the whole valve acutator aka the golf tee mod..
BS how? Because u droned on a stock exhaust setup? well this isnt anywhere close. I am 100% catless, no resonator, no Xpipe. i told you what the exhaust does and doesnt, so call BS somwhere else.
Im not selling a product, im sharing my experience. At any speed 50-60-70-80 there is no drone at all.. windows up, down, sunroof opened.

My stock ML63 has more drone then my 335 does.. I havent sat in the back seat, might be a lil drone.. im super sensitive to drone and ive been in alot of 335i's and different exhaust setups on my own car, and this is by far the most non drone exhaust setup ive been in a 335i, and being so loud and catless.

The difference betwen mine and a coupe is the coupe has a x pipe, i have divorced piping.

I dont drone with the gold tee mod and catless dps. I am an E90 though. I need a fudging catless exhaust so I can drone. LOL.....

Not that I really want to drone. I just want an exhaust to go with the dp's

sry for the late reply. The odor from installing these DP's went up a little.Nothing major at all or un barelable. Hoesntly it doesnt stink that much in garage all that much over stock?? I dont know what people make a big fuss about.

I think becaue the CP-E's are so thick / well made/ and have that cast 3" belmouth the noise and cabin noise is pretty stockish, which is great. But at WOT is juss BEAST from the outside.
