New Years Eve
Greetings from across the pond, fellow E90 posters.
It turns out that I'm going to be in Manhattan for New Years Eve this year. I've been to NY a few times before but never for NYE. I'm looking for recommendations of where to go/what to do and (hopefully) I'm not too late to be making reservations(?) Standing in Times Square watching the ball drop isn't really my bag. Ideally I'd like somewhere like Tao (where I've enjoyed great times before); a good meal, lively atmosphere, late night drink, great music etc, but they aren't listing anything for NYE. But I'm looking for other suggestions, please. What are you guys planning on doing?

Go online and do a search. NYC is maddness on NYE but most of the bars do an all inclusive package where you pay $100 or something for all your can eat/drink. The only thing is you have to stay at one place. Its impossible to get into some places so its not a bad idea. As someone from NYC I try to stay far far away from there on New Years. Anything else just ask!
