Wheel fitment

I really love the OEM 172 wheels from the 550i. I found that at some point in time **********s actually made a rep to fit the E90. They dont make it anymore, but eurowheelspro.com makes the rep for the 5 series. Will this wheel fit on my 2006 330i without the sport package? Any help is appreciated.

Wheel Size: 18X8.5
Bolt Pattern (PCD): 5-120mm
Wheel Offset: +20mm
CB: 74.1mm (72.6 for E60 with free hub rings)
Finish: Hyper Silver
Shipping: $85
PRICE/SET: $489

Have you seen the NEW 5 series (550) M Sport wheel? They look great. Might be an alternative. Not sure of the offset, but someone is selling a set locally....with tires.

Might look into it.

Yeah, i saw those but someone posted that they wont fit on the E90's... or wont fit with those tires? Ive been trolling the local postings for something 'OEM' looking, just havent found anything I really like yet.

Currently, im running on 4 bent wheels thanks to an excavating company neglecting to put the steel plates back over the 8" deep trench in the road. I finally got their insurance comapny to cover the cost of replacing the wheels, but im having a hard time commiting to a replacement.

I understand the concept of the wheel offsets, just have no clue what fits on my car? I dont really want to roll my fenders or stretch a tire to get it to fit.

I feel your pain, there has been so much road work in VA in the past 4 months, it's driving me nuts!

If I were you I would stay away from REPLICA wheels if you can. Look for something good used if you have to. That's what I did.

As far as rolling fender lips, it's not that big of a deal. I have a fender roller and can help you out on the cheap.

Is your car lowered, btw?

Thanks for the offer. Im not lowered yet, but since im recently out of my CPO warranty, im now considering it. I definitely want to find a set of wheels before i do springs and coilovers.

What do you know about replica wheels? Most manufacturers claim that they use the 'same process and standards as OEM', but i was very skeptical of that statement by them... I would much rather find a used set of OEM, but its hard to find them in good condition.

Thanks-

As I was lurking around the other day, I saw someone selling some wheels that said BMW Performance written on them 19's. They were really nice!

I had fittment issues with rep wheels on an AMG. Major PITA

I do not believe the majority of rep manufacturers are making the wheels to the specs of the major manufacturers. Some may be better than others, but there's a good reason why BBS, HRE and others cost more money.

If you're not lowered, you can run 235/40s no problem. If you're lowered without rolled fenders, might wanna do 225/40.

Will using a 225 give the stretched tire look? I dont really like the look of a stretched tire.

I dont have a problem rolling my fenders if need be.

NM, i found some pics of a 225 mounted on a 8.5 wheel... I think the only other question i have is would anyone recommend using a spacer on the rear? If so, what size?

Mount them and see how big of a spacer you want.
