Anyone fancy doing me a retro fit of a DAB unit in the South of the UK?

I am in Reading, Berkshire.

2007 E91 Touring 335D

I have the DAB Unit, and the bracket,
I also have cd cabling in the boot cubby hole!

Aerial? Coding?

There are instructions on here somewhere for connecting it up but the aerial is going to be your main problem.

I was going to buy an aftermarket aerial - and put it in the boot / externally somewhere - as for the coding, thats the bit I need help with!!

I wondered before I delved in, whether I could pass it to a knowledgeable kind of bloke who could do it for me, and I could just pay for their time !!!

Hi T5DESIGN,

I'm having OEM DAB and MoBridge BT retrofitted by Cartronics near Brooklands in a couple of weeks time. Give them a call and speak to Mark abt yr coding issue. He's helpful and pragmatic, doesn't do the hard sell.

I will post up a review of the Cartronics and their retrofit once done.

How did this go any chance of a price, already have BT but opted out of DAB and not regreting it so wouldnt mind retrofit

WRT pricing, best to call Mark @ Cartronics directly as my price was for BT and DAB retrofitted together.

Is yours the new hdd Nav Matt ?
The new Nav has DAB built into it and not a separate DAB module in the boot like the earlier cars.

It's a bit of a ballache retrofitting DAB imo especially to do it properly.
I can get you a CIC Nav unit with DAB for £750 if your interested.

What do you mean by new HDD nav Jon? Mine is a sept 2010 build e92. Does my car qualify as well?

I'm interested in discussing it, especially if you can take my 2009 unit in part ex or similar - I dunno exactly what you do so that might not be something your interested in.

I'd be especially interested if you can supply it with newer maps as well.

Would I need anything else?
