USB function
Hi all
I'm a new member on here and this is my first post. There's a good reason for that, I'm picking up my E92 335i hopefully in the next few days! I can't wait! Just a quick, probably stupid, question and I apologise if this has already been answered somewhere on the forum. But, can anyone advise what the function of the USB port in the arm-rest is for? I'm assuming it accepts a standard USB mass storage device, but can it be used for anything else? Ipod? Thanks in advance, and hopefully I can start giving back to this forum as I learn about the car |

but if you put a flash drive that has thousands of songs it taks a while for the car to read through them

I would imagine that you could connect an Android phone via your normal USB cable, then when the phone prompts you just select 'Mass Storage'
I've ordered a Y cable like above for my Ipod, thanks guys. |
