Tire pressure loss.
Hello all,
I have 19 inch CSL reps, and I was just curious how often we have to fill our tires. It has been really cold lately so that may do it, but today I checked my tires and one of them were at 15psi, another at 20psi, and the rear two were at 32psi. I filled them all to 35psi about 5 weeks ago. I checked for nails and there is nothing. Is this normal and if not, what can cause this? Thanks again! |

It does sound like you have some sort of a leak in the fronts. You might have the tire valves checked for tightness.
Also, some nails are very difficult to spot - I had one in a DWS for over 4,000 miles but only had to add about 3 psi per week. Tom |

Possibly a bent or cracked rim. I had a rear tire which lost about 5 psi a week. I took it off and noticed my csl rep had cracked on the lip. Poured some water over the crack and sure enough, bubbles.
Your valve stems could also be leaking, too many vairables here. Take it to a tire shop.

It definitely could be the result of a bend or crack in the wheels, however I'm sure the cooler weather has played a part in it as well. My front wheels were running a little low on air pressure after this last weekend too and they are not bent or cracked.

I had a very similar problem shortly after installing new tires. Turns out a bit of curb rash during parallel parking punctured my sidewall. A local tire shop dunked the tire and found the small hole. Have you brushed up on any curbs recently?
