Dynavin and upgrading options
Hi there
I have been reading some stuff about the Dynavin HU. It seems to be one of the best looking HU's for the E90 and thats why im considering buying one. But one of the other reasons is that i want to upgrade the sound system/HU and thats almost impossible with the standard HU i have in my base stereo without amp. So i did hope some of you guys could tell me wheter it would be easier if i got a Dynavin HU and the fitted a Amp, upgraded underseat subs etc.?

You won't need a processor if you do that.
You should relocate the old head unit to the trunk or at least hold on to it
so you will have it if your car needs programming. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ht=aftermarket |

Yeah, i've read that it's a good idea to keep it.
but can i run wires from the headunit straight to the amp and then to the subwoofer? like normal cars back in the days

I would get a Technic Harness
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=dynavin
Technic makes harnesses for the three different systems and can tell you how to run the wires and hook it up. Getting his harness means no cutting on your factory wire harness but you will have to split the undeseat wiring from the door wiring as they are in parallel in the base system. I have seen people talk about this on threads here but I don't know the specifics http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=540954 there is an example in the above thread Its possible to make your own I suppose but can you make a good one.
