MAERSK TIDE (9VEC): Who is on it?

Supposed to leave Bremerhaven on 5/11/07, but I haven't found any info regarding going in or out of that port. Anyone have any tracking info on her?

It left Southampton this morning so it's heading out to the Atlantic. Probably won't be able to track it until it shows up on sailwx.info.

As requested...this is what AISLive has on their site right now... The problem is that this is the position as of the "Last Seen" date, so it's off a bit.

In fact, if I try locating my ship Carmen with AISLive, it shows it just south of the Panama Canal, which was 4 days ago... And as far as sailwx.info goes, my ship didn't start reporting to sailwx.info until it was well out into the Atlantic, so don't dispair. Just keep checking every 6 hours. Drop everything else in your life and concentrate on what's important - locating the ship that has your car !!!

Also we got lucky in that it stopped reporting north of Columbia but resumed just after it left the Panama Canal, it's now just south of Cabo.

I think it would be farther along than that since it left Southampton last week. I thought AIS-Live was real time. Are you on the free public registration, or the free subscriber 2 week registration?

I am using the 2 week free trial. That is the last location that it reported. AISLive only works when the ship is in range. That's why there isn't a new position of Maersk Tide, because it's out in open water now. I think the blue area on the map below close to the land masses is basically their coverage area.

I will keep checking and see when it shows up again.
