Tool32 Won't Connect To Car
So...trying to reset my battery. Coding w/NCS Expert works fine. But Tool32 doesn't seem to connect to my car. (06 330i 5/2005 build date) Anyone have an idea what could be wrong?
I fire up tool32 from /bin, load MSV70, and the curser just spinns like it is trying to do something. But nothing happens. |

I'm not on that pc, but it wasn't an install. Was part of the files in the ncsexpert.rar download in the beginning on the BMW Coding Sucess thread. There another install?

Got it to work. Turns out when I ran the OBD setup, there were errors in the script. For an example of what I am talking about, just look at the screenshot in the DIY. He had errors too.
Fixed the error values in the registry, and it worked! |

Where you able to verify the registration
Where you able to verify the registration
It looks like this might be possible from some of the other programs like DIS 57 or progman anybody try that? And also more user friendly? |

I think so. I say that b/c I asked for verification on what I saw from the battery reset DIY, but not confident on the replies I got. Guess there is no way to really tell, like a 'battery age' value stored somewhere?
