No power to steering wheel 09 335i

I just finished building (body shop) a wrecked 2009 335i with 700 miles on it. Still smells new on the inside, amazing car! But one very obvious and (hopefully) simple fix still needs to be done. Nothing on the steering wheel seems like its getting power; none of the buttons, the paddle shifters, the horn, or the airbag (getting an airbag warning). The bag was never deployed in the wreck and the steering wheel was never removed. It almost seems as though all those connections are made in 1 dongle and its just unplugged somewhere? Anyone have an idea where to begin looking without re-tearing up my new car?

Thanks,
Ben

This is common on VW cars and usually the clock spring needs to be replaced on those cars.

Not sure if it's the same on these but it's worth unplugging and re-seating the harnesses at least...
