Blown hose?? No boost at all
my cars running jb4 map5 (autotune) with catless dp, injen intake, ****** charge pipe + greddy type s bov.
I was pulling really hard on 3rd gear about 6000rpm and I heard some kind of hose popping off sound from the engine bay. It sounded like compressed air leaking through a hole ( pshhhhhhhhhhhh sound). After that I get no boost at all. I checked my intake with hose n line connections, charge pipe and blow off valve, valve lines and replaced diverter valve to other one because I thought either one of those aftermarket parts were blown. But It would still give me no boost. Whenever I drive, even on the 3~4000rpm, I hear lots of air leaking( or extra loud intake noise) and no boost. also there's no blow off valve sound when i realease pedal. Is there anyway that i could check what hose is wrong with my car? I'm not going to take it to dealership because the first place i took it when it happened was stealership and they charged $155 for only checking it, but the result they found was "my car has aftermarket parts". |

Did you take out the charge pipe to inspect it? Sounds to me like a boost leak. It happened to a customer where something popped off it happened to be the diverter valve.
