Long cranking to start my coupe....dealer says not fuel pump but "sticking valve"
My wife took our coupe to the dealer today for the "long cranking" problem. The dealer hooked up the computer and pulled a code that said a valve was "sticking". we had another appointment made for the 5th of june to check the computer again. They said if the code came up again, they would start tearing into the motor for troubleshooting. kinda makes me nervous. anyone else hear of this?????

My brake pedal is hard to depress in the morning when starting. But I don't have a long cranking problem. 9/06 build.

Two people posted in this thread stating that the brake pedal is hard to depress in the morning, I hope you guys aren't asking if this is a sign of a HPFP failure
It's normal for the brake pedal to have more resistance when the car isn't running and you are starting the car (pretty much any car with power brakes) and as soon as the car starts it depresses further. If this is what you guys are asking about it is normal. |
