Going to the dealership today ^_^

:rocks: i told my dad about getting a used 3series coupe, he immediately told me that he has a friend dat works at the bimmer dealership( i thnik hes a manager there too). hopefully i can get a 328i coupe out the door for 35k
or a 335i for 38-39k out the door!!:rocks: :rocks:

Good luck finding a 335i unless you don't mind waiting 4-6 months. Congrats on your choice though.

39,000 on a 335i coupe???? yeah you probably have to wait and pretty much get base base i mean the car starts at $40K..........better luck getting that with the 335i sedan but still base base...

Not trying to rain on your parade but that's wishful thinking. Unless you want a base car there's no way you can get either for the prices you mentioned.

even if we kno the manager there? one of my friends parents kno the owner of a lexus dealership, they get all the lexus at the cost they getting it for... which is very very cheap

Well, it depends on your dads relationship with the guy. As the owner, he knows how hot the demand for the 335i coupe is right now - and he only has a certain amount of allocation slots to sell, so its his choice to burn one on you at cost or sell it at a profit for sure. People are lining up to pay sticker for the 335i coupe. Let us know how it turns out, it will be interesting to see what he gives you.

$35k OTD on the 328i? That's probably base with no options at all.

I'm about to seal the deal on a 328i coupe w/ sports package, steptronic, comfort access, navigation and logic7 for $43k OTD.

Trying to go lower. We'll see...

Those are some great deals on the 3 coupes if you can get them. I had to haggle with three dealers just to get $1.5K off of my 335i coupe. Just wondering, is everyone sure that there is such a long wait? I placed my order last week and production is scheduled for week 22. No delays for my car per BMW USA.

You're talking about a sedan though. He wants a coupe.
Also for your car it's $36k+ tax rite?? $36k otd is a too unrealistic to me.

well this is how it went
there was a 335i white alpine with black interior n silver trim. its not even a premium package n no sport package. pretty much base with stepntonic, sunroof xenon adaptive headlights, very base i guess.. the sticker price wa 42,850. i got it down to 42,000+tax n i couldnt get it lower than that. im waitin for him to call me back

the dealer also bs'ed about how they have to put 2,000extra over sticker price on all the available 335i's due to demand..

All those things you listed are standard on a 35 except for the step.

I'm amazed a dealer would order a 35 coupe without packages besides step.

This sounds like one of those cars that GM or Ford dealers would advertise in the papers to get people to go into the dealership and tell them it's strip.

Those are standard on a e92. Im guessing your talking about a e90.
