Just bought an E92! Very excited.

Hey guys! I posted yesterday about the bimmer I was looking to buy, and after a lot of consideration... I bought it! He gave me a good price, even though it was accident repaired! Just waiting for my insurance to kick in and I'll be happy to drive it around. Tell me what you guys think! 2007, 328xi + nav white on black! Lol, but again accident repaired and 18,000 $.

18k is a great price.

a. how many miles/kms on it?
b. is it CPO?
c. what kind of accident damage?

Thank you! Glad to be a part of the E92 community.
It's not CPO, it has 88,000 KM on it and the damage was to the front end, hard enough to deploy airbags but not hard enough to bend the frame, it drives like a dream! It feels very heavy though... But I'm not sure if all E92s feel this heavy :P
But I'm very excited
Should I take this to a BMW dealer to have it inspected and find out exactly what's wrong, if anything?

If you've bought it, maybe no point in having BMW inspect it now... Next time, ask for the complete damage or repair report. We had (another) car that was involved in an accident. Since I had all documentation, the purchaser was sure nothing important had been damaged.

Congrats, hope it continues to drive as good as it looks.

Are those M3 18 inch wheels? Could be the reason the car feels a little heavy. I have my 17 inch winters on now and the car feels notably lighter.

The steering has nice heft to it too.

I'm going to need a set of winters soon too, just want to see how insurance goes. Yeah, they're the 18 inch M3 wheels, but they are missing the small M badge on them.

Yes, steering is heavy but you will get used to it within a day or two.

The flip side is when you get stuck driving a crap rental car on a trip it feels like you are driving a bumper car.

Congratulations on the purchase!

Congrats on the car hope it works out well for you!

I believe you took it to a mechanic before hand and everything checked out just fine so there's no point in going to BMW. If you want a full inspection done take it to RMP Motors, they do the best inspections and they're not expensive either and they can tell you anything that needs to be done.

Also try readjusting the front bumper, I seen more pics of that car and the hood to front bumper gap is too large, I'm guessing whoever installed it did not align it properly, it's just a couple screws.

Thanks guys! I'm glad to be a part of this community... And as for the mod bug, I already have a few ideas in mind.. Just got to save up the cash! After winter I'm thinking of starting with changing that interior wood trim! Start small, and eventually go big! I've been driving it for a day, but I am truly in love.

Yeah, I'm thinking of taking it somewhere other than BMW. I'll take a look into RMP motors, but a friend gave me the suggestion of Techmaxx. Almost everyone that sees the car also says that, and I think I should adjust it... Just very scared of touching the car!
