OK....What's the difference????
I asked this in the diesel section, but it looks like alot more people hang out here.
After two weeks and many delays for wrong parts being ordered at the body shop, we are now told our 335D has an M Technic package vs. the M Sport package like we thought. This is our first BMW! Anyone care to enlighten this confused Chevy guy ![]() ![]() |

FYI, diesels must have the specific diesel rear bumper because of the exhaust fluid cap.
But yea Msport/Mtech is basically the same. Although, for pre-LCI models, many refer to the sport package bumpers as M Tech. LCI is more commonly referred to as M Sport. |

The body and paint guys are damn good and the main reason I chose the shop. ![]() The problem is the insurance rep and parts guy are clueless. ![]() First problem was the bumper cover...we now have the correct one and ready to install. Next was the intercooler...yes the diesel is different and hard to find PN (17517800682) Now the brake ducts and lower grill screen are wrong and they couldn't find good PN's for the correct ones. With some good VIN decoding, the correct parts should be here tomorrow so my wife can have her car back soon. All this over one fat ass racoon!!!!! |
